Guiding You to Greater Financial  Confidence

Families and Individuals

We develop tailored strategies to help our clients work towards their financial goals. Our focus encompasses three main phases of financial planning.

The Accumulation Phase is where investors are accumulating assets. In this phase there is generally a long-term time horizon. Increased volatility can be accepted for a portion of the portfolio because there is more time to achieve objectives. There are often short term purchasing needs that must also be considered in the financial plan. We work with clients in the accumulation phase of their lives to develop a plan for addressing unforeseen circumstances while also positioning the appropriate amount of assets for long-term growth in a tax efficient manner.

The Preservation Phase often occurs when clients are in the "retirement red zone" or have already retired. This is a time period when we look to transition the portfolio into more conservative options in an effort to preserve gains from the accumulation phase. We work with clients in the preservation phase to help preserve their nest egg and keep up with inflation.

The Income and Estate Planning Phase occurs when employment becomes optional. We develop a plan to transition the nest egg into a tax efficient lifetime income stream. It is also important to address the potential for a client's future healthcare needs at this time. In addition to income and healthcare, we work with clients to protect their beneficiaries through estate planning.
